Masjid Al Fatah Visit The Holy Ziyarat During Umrah

Masjid Al Fatah Visit The Holy Ziyarat

Masjid AlFatah, also known as Masjid e Ahzab is located on a small mountain in the city of Madina. This mosque symbols the place where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) camped during the battle of Khandak later on a mosque was built on this site because of its huge meaning. This is where Allah Almighty sent His glad tidings of victory to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The battle of Khandak is a very essential in the history of Islam as the Muslims outwitted the opponent and suffered very few fatalities despite having been outnumbered by the opponent. It is known as the battle of Khandak or Trench because this region is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the Muslims dug a trench to defend the only side where there were no mountains. Therefore the Muslims strategically overcame their enemies and executed all of them. The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had made prayer to the Allah Almighty to defeat the enemy and Allah Almighty answered the call of His messenger and sent Jibrail (A.S) with the good news of victory. Thus, the name Fatah, which means victory in Arabic. There were other camps of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) companions like Hazrat Ali (R.A), Hazrat Salman Farsi (R.A), Hazrat Umer (R.A), Hazrat Fatima (R.A), Hazrat Usman (R.A) and at each of these spots a mosque has been built to signify its meaning. Therefore, there are 5 mosques around this area,  making it a must stopover site for Ziarah.
