Plan Up To Arrange Improved Services For Hajj And Umrah Pilgrims

For the guests of God The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) is moving on a plan to license buildings which will hold Umrah pilgrims and visitors with the aim to get better services.

Hamad Al-Semaeel, performing vice president at the SCTA, said that the commission is working in collaboration with investors and government followers to provide better services to pilgrims who stay in these buildings.

The costs will announce the minimum terms for welcome, in addition to safety, security and public health to investors in the administration of these buildings.

The commission intends to stop a workshop for operators to make clear licensing requirements for working these buildings and to take note of any issues.

In reaching this decision Al-Semaeel valued the cooperation of the Ministry of Hajj and government and private partners.

Alsamaeel also hoped that these decisions will reflect the kind nature of the Saudi people and their government. 

He said authorities expert in licensing are now trying to increase procedures by introducing electronic linkages. Omar bin Abdul Aziz Al-Mubarak, director general of the licensing directorate at the SCTA, called on investors and operators in pilgrim lodging to speed up the actions of obtaining their licenses to start operations.

He said that the commission is looking to get better the services and improvement of customer satisfaction which can only be realized by activating partnerships between the government and private sectors, operators and organizers of tourist actions.

On Monday The Council of Ministers accepted in its session held under the presidency of guardian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman the SCTA’s obtaining of licenses for buildings which can be used to accommodate pilgrims on situation that they meet up the necessities of the municipality and civil defense.
