The Mountain of Hira Ziyarat

It was here that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) acknowledged the first revelations of the Holy Quran during the month of Ramadhan in 610 CE. The Prophet (peace be upon him) first began to have revelations in the form of good ideas which came true. Then he began to like privacy. He would go to the cave of Hira and consider there in solitude for a digit of days and nights. He would take necessities with him to wait for an extensive period, and when he returned to Khadija (R.A), he would stock up again and go back to the cave. This was his practice until Truth discovered to him by an angel as he was in the cave of Hira.
During Tahajjud time one night time, when he was single in the cave, there came to him an angel in the appearance of a man. The angel said to him, “Speak up!”. “I could not read”, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said. The angel took hold of him a second time and pushed him till he could not tolerate it any elongated. After allowing him to go, the angel again said, “Speak!”. Again the Prophet (peace be upon him) replied “I cannot read”. The angel more folds him again until he had reached the limit of patience and said “Recite!” for the third time the Prophet (peace be upon him) said “I cannot read”. He freed him (peace be upon him) and said:
“Read in the name of the Lord, the inventor. He Who produced man from a blood clot. Speak! And your Lord is the Most abundant. Who trained us by the Pen, taught man what he knew not.”
This was the earliest day of his Prophethood and these were the first verses of the Quran revealed to him. He recited these words again and again after the angel, who went away from him; and he said; “It was as though the words were written on my heart.” He was very concerned by this incident and feared that he had become obsessed.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) fled from the cave, and when he was middle down the slope of the mountain, he heard a voice above him saying: “ Muhammad (peace be upon him), thou skill the Messenger of Allah Almighty, and I am Jibrail ”. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stood gazing at the angel; then he twisted gone from him, but either way he looked the angel was always there on the prospect, whether it was to the north, east, south or west. Finally the angel revolved away. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was scared and his heart was beating hard. He came home to Khadija (R.A) and said, “Cover me!”. Khadija (R.A) hide him and helped him calm down.
The Holy Quran explains us that the first exposure descended in Ramadan on the ‘Night of Power’. “The period of Ramadan is the month in which the Holy Quran was revealed.” “We have to be sure revealed this message during the Night of Power.”
